My Math Learning

in our class we are learning about the radius, circumference and diameter of a circle. We had follow up tasks on khan academy and this is some of my results in pictures.

Pirate Swords On the pirate ship there are 24 pirate swords. Each pirate has 2 swords.If half the pirates lost a sword in battle and a quarter of the pirates each gained a new sword, how many swords would there now be on the pirate ship?

 Half of 24 is 12 Quarter of 12 is 4 12 + 4 = 16
16 is the answer

 If a third of the swords were then lost how many would there be left?

 3x4 is 12 so ⅓ off 12 is 4.
The answer is 4.
